For Writers
Children's writers are some of the most generous people on the planet, and I am grateful to the many writers who have helped me, and still help me, on my writing journey.
Let me help you.
I am a proud member of the Nonfiction Ninjas, the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators, the Rochester Area Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and on the creative team behind NF FEST, the only month-long, online celebration of writing and illustrating children's nonfiction.
I am also the co-author of ANATOMY OF NONFICTION: WRITING TRUE STORIES FOR CHILDREN, with Margery Facklam (Writer's Institute Publications, 2011).
